Stephen S Caskie, PE, LLC is a consulting
structural engineering firm based in Charleston, SC, with projects
throughout the southeastern US. Our philosophy is to provide quality
structural engineering services for a fair price, on time, with
technical accuracy. Throughout the design process, communication with
the client is paramount, to ensure the design provides for the function
of the project. We ensure our designs are constructible, and will
perform field oversight to ensure the design intent is fulfilled during
construction.
The firm was founded based on our clients’ needs for quality structural
engineering products and services that meet budgets, schedules and

treating all aspects as if they were our own. We will be there with
you at the beginning, middle, and end of every project.
Our project focus is centered on complex
residential, light commercial, governmental, and some industrial project
types. We have designed a myriad of structures to meet the seismic, high
wind and flood requirements of the Charleston, SC area, as well as other
areas in NC, GA, and TN. We have designed a number of ocean front and
coastal residential and light commercial structures in the coastal South
Carolina area, including the barrier island communities of Kiawah,
Seabrook, and Sullivan’s Islands, as well as the Isle of Palms, South
Carolina.
